In the process off getting a new fence. I’m getting a couple of blokes from the footy club to do it for me as they’re no more expensive, and they’re a good couple dudes. I’d rather give them my hard earned money than some squib i’ve never meant.

So here’s the old fence…

And here’s the fence after a day of demolishing and then a day of building…

And here are some pickets after being painted (on the dining room table)…

And here’s the fence after day 3 – almost done. The gate is now on and almost all of the pickets are up. We had painted all of the pickets that we had (which were about 15 short) and if it was me, i would have probably kept all the nicely painted ones together and just tack the rest at the end. However, they seems to be a bit more scattered than that. I’m sure they had their reasons. As you can see there’s a fair bit of waste out the front of our place and today was hard rubbish day, alas they didn’ take our hard rubbish as it was deemed to be “building masterials” – which are not allowed.
