The Painting Wall - April 21st, 2006
We’ve got a wall at home that people paint paintings for. We’ve got a bunch of blank canvas’ in a chest in the loungeroom and a selection of paints. So when someone comes around for dinner, or just to say hi, they are obliged to make us a painting for the wall.
I’ve been pretty keen to write a cms in php to handle data just for the fun of it for a while, and the painting wall seemed like a perfect fit for this hobby project. And now it’s done. It’s all fully managable by me and outputs the data to flash which puts it in a nice scrollable display page. It’s constantly evolving, but for now it does everything that i want it to do on a really basic level.
