sammi needham : cogitate

There is this great lolly shop in Torquay that i tend to pop in to when i down near that area. They have cool stuff from all around the world, sometimes weird, sometimes desirable, sometimes unlikely.

This was one of those times that an unlikely piece of confection managed to snare my glare, it was the shape of a hamburger, but there was no meat, it was in fact made completely out of MARSHMALLOW!!!

Now i love marshmallow, but i was a little skeptical about the sheer volume of the stuff that was tightly compacted into this sweet. I figured a fair bi of work had gone into it by some machine, so i gave it a shot.

Seems (to my complete surprise) that this sugary hamburger it was absolutely disgusting! It wasn’t the soft, fluffy deliciousness that i usually associate with marshmallow, rather it must have had to of been so pulped into shape and colour that everything that would have once made it a marshmallow had been disgarded to form the resemblance to a hamburger. It’s a shame, because if it was actually delicious, i could have had one for lunch everyday.
